Hey all, here’s your weekly update (two days early 😅). I am hoping to return in the first week or two of September from my knee injury but I’ll confirm this soon!

🚨 I am also delighted to announce LESSON PACKAGE DISCOUNTS!

Starting from September, when I return, I will be offering a €20 discount on 6 lessons, meaning that you’ll get 6 lessons for the price of 5 at a total of €100.

I also offer a discount on all lessons for students at €15 per lesson.

I have recently added a page on my website that gives an insight into my tennis lesson plans. Lessons with myself, Liam Ellis, will involve groundstrokes, the serve and many other shots relevant and useful in playing tennis.

Having taken several tennis lessons, players will be introduced to matchplay rules and tactics at a sustainable pace throughout the following lessons. As part of this, I create scenarios in which players work on direction work and shot placement, as well as consistency in how they play.

I think it is important for players to first have an understanding of certain aspects of playing tennis with an appropriate level of technique. How to hold the racket is one of the fundamental parts of this, of which there are several ways to do so.

Using the correct grips for each type of shot, whether it is the forehand, backhand or serve, allows for more power and control over the ball. Once grips are understood and the swing path of your racket becomes consistent, matchplay rules start to come into play, in an increasing way throughout points.

I am delighted to write my first blog post on my new tennis coaching website where I showcase all the types of tennis lessons I offer as well as much more.

I'd love for my website to become a one stop shop for all things tennis including tennis lessons as I mentioned earlier.

However, my website has become more than that as I have added webpages with lists of public tennis courts, tennis walls to practice on and tennis shops.

My hope is that this will make it very convenient for anyone I coach and the wider internet to find info on anything they might need or not even know they need!
